Allen Main has been committed for trial on a charge of murdering Overton In his statement to the police he declared that he fired the first shot to frighten and did not intend to hit, and the secoud was fired when Overton was holding him down and intended to hit his arm. He handed over the stolen jewellery at the time of arrest.
