ADVANCES TO WORKERS.
IMPROYED FINANCES—LIMIT IiAISED. Per Press Association. Wellington, May 7. "It is an indication of the improved financial position," Mr Massey informed a Post reporter, today, "that gCabinethas deoided to raise the limit of advances under the Workers scheme from £3OO to £4OO. The subject of advances to local bodies," he added, "has not yet been dealt with."
