R.M.S. NIAGARA.

Per Press Association. Auckland, May^O. The number of passengerss booked by the new R.M.S. Niagara from Australia and New Zealand for Suva, Honolulu, and Vancouver, easily constitutes a record. The vessel sails fiom Auckland on Saturday morning next, and she will leave port with almost the whole of her extensive accommodation taken up. In the first saloon some 230 people are booked, while about 170 are travelling 'in the second saloon, and over 200 in the third-class* making a total of closa upon 600 people. Almost the whole of the first and third-class accommodation has been taken up, but there are still a number of berths available in the second saloon. The liner will take on board at Auckland 6200 quarters of beef, which is equivalent to 1500 head of cattle. Amongst other cargo to be loaded here will be 290 carcases of veal, 165 sacks of frozen meats, 500 carcases of a mutton, 600 boxes of butter, 50 tons of flax, and large lines of wool, jam, onions, kauri gunv and other cargo. The vessel,will also take on board several hundred. tons of coal and a large quantity of stores.
