Admiral Edward Seymour, Sir John Hopkins, the Duke of Argyle, Lord Kinnaird, and other* spoke. The Lord Mayor declared that one of the objects of ;the meeting was to strengthen the Government's hands and make it known that commercial men were willing to make pecuniary sacrifices to promote the aviation movement. Lord Desborough said he was sure Britishers-could privately raise an enormous sum to assist the Government to provide an efficient aerial fleet. A NEW ZEPPELIN. Berlin, May 6. ■ A new Zeppelin passenger ship with fourteen passengers flew 155 kilometres in 115 minutes.
