Gray was examined under the Fraudulent Debtors Act in respect of his means for satisfying Roberts' judgment for £2311 against him for breach of contract. Gray gave evidence that he had an agreement with his father whereby he reoeived '£3 a week, hie father paying for his clothes and travelling expenses, and taking what he earned at billiards. Gray's father deposed that all the money his son made in England and South Afrioa, about £4OOO, was eaten up by the expense. A thousand went in legal expenses in England. He had not got a penny now. Justice Hood deslined to make an order in the case, deolaring that evea if he did not believe the evidence it would not justify him in making an order against the defendant.
