BULLS TOWN BOARD

At the usual monthly meeting of the above" Board there were present: Messrs J. E. Walker (chairman, Broughton, Homes, Hosking, Hathaway,* Flower and Fletcher. Correspondence was received from Marton Borough Council and Hunterville Town Bdard, enclosing copies of by-laws. —It was decided to hold oyer adoption of by-laws until next meeting. * From Rangitikei County Council,, re deposit of rubbish in disused metal pit near Mr Mason’s property on Parewanui road.—Received, It was decided (Broughton— Walker) That police be asked to take steps to have the pace of motor cars travelling through the town regulated to somewhere within the bounds of safety to the public. The Chairman moved, in accordance with notice of motion given at the previous meeting, that all rates not collected on 31st December be sued for. Mr F. O. Wilson awaited on the Board re nuisances in town,_ and suggested that Board should institute a system cf dealing with nightsoil. Accounts amounting to £Bl 7s 7d were passed for payment.
