A German, alleged to be a relative of the Kaiser, has been arrested on a charge of defrauding a dealer in antiques of £3200, He squandered a quarter of a million in six years. BANK DOCUMENTS STOLEN. Four trunks containing documents in reference to the liquidation of the Sauk of Egypt, in transit to London,'haye been stolen from a cab at the Gare-de-Lycn. The thief apparently was unaware that they have no monetary value. MURDEROUS' CHINESE. Berlin, October 18. A telegram from Blagoveschensk says that 15 armed Chinese attacked a gold mine at the River Silimdja. They killed the owner and another official and wounded others, and seized £Bl in gold. They were pursued and six were killed, two drowned and three wounded. £3O lias been^recovered. GERMAN COUNT WOUNDED. Berlin, October 13. Count Posadowsky Werner, German naval attache at Vienna, has been found wounded in the wood at Ragusa. He declares that the wound was accidental through drawing a revolver against a man following him. It is rumoured that the Count carried important mobilisation documents. MOTOR RACERS .ARRESTED. Received October 14, 10 a.m. Brussels, October 13. The police have arrested the brothers Gaston and Richard Vergouts, well known motor racers, for murdering Provo a diamond merchant recently, and Da-vidson, another diamonnd merchant in 1911. Jewels valued at £3OOO have been unearthed.
