FLAXMILL WORKERS GRIEVANCES

Per Press Association. Palmerston N., October 11. The following letter has been sent to the Premier, by Mr E. L. Broad, president of the Plaxmillers’ Association, "referring to the newspaper reports of the recent discussion in the House in regard to the accommodation of flaxmill workers and the recent cases of typhoid:— The Association respectfully requests you to instruct the Government Health officer to make an immediate inspection of flaxmills in Manawatu district and draw up a special report. If desired the Association will appoint a member or members to conduct the doctor throughout the district and assist him in every way -possible.
