TIMBER YARDS ABLAZE.

.United Press Association.— By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright. Received October 11, 10 a.m. Sydney, October 11. A fire early this morning destroyed a large portion ot biarc y timber yards at Pyrmount. Mackenzie’s, adjoining timber yard, ••caught fire, and is still burning, .but is in hand. The damage is •heavy. T , J Later. The fire has been got under. 'Hardy’s is practically burnt out, but at Mackenzie’s the damage is slight. The losses are not stated. The firms .are largely insured.
