The Auckland and Suburban Local Bodies Union of Workers recently formed by men outside the Federation of Labour with which the Auckland General Labourers affiliated, has received a commanioatioL from the secretary of Christchurch Union in reply to a request for a copy of their industrial agreement. The letter states that he was instructed to reply saying “You send the names, addresses aad photographs, if possible, of each of your members so that should wo meet in Hell we c«n avoid them, having no feims-for blacklegs dead or alive,” The secretary of Auckland Union reulied in vigorous terms, regretting that they were . deceived In the assumption that they were comnmaloafilßg with genuine 'Unionists, and denouncing the tactics of the Federation of Labour.
