The fire occurred at Angus Thomas’ Ohilstmas-card factory, in Moor Lane, London, fFifteen girls in a back room were cut off by the flames. A dozan clambered on to the roof with their clothing on fire. Six wsz’B burned to death ia sight of the spectators in adjoining buildings. Several escaped on planks thrown from ' the parapet on adjacent premises. The 'remainder jumped 70ft., two being killed.
