The Cologne Gazette, Sa an inspired article, states that not a few newspapers were misinformed by the earlier versions of the Putumayo atrocities and wrongfully accused Britishers- A statement in the Prussian- Diet showed that not a single Englishman participated in the atrocities. The article concludes by deprecating the efforts to create bad blood between Germany and Britain.
