MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE. The half-yearly meeting of the Management Committee was held at the,Methodist Schoolroom, Marten, on Tuesday. The meeting commenced at 10 am, Present: Prov. G.M. Bro. J. Nix. Apiti ; v D. G.M. Bro. J. W. Olevely, Bnnnythorpe; Bros. T. Bamber and E. Biddle, Wanganui; H. Sharman and S; J. Watson, Msnawatn; O. Affcken, Manchester; E, MoGonnaii, Mangaweka. The following business was transacted after we-.went to press yesfierdy; ! The Loyal Ohaknne Lodge made an application " for permission to build a hall, After considerable discussion, it was decided, upon the motion offßro. JJWatsoa, secondedaby Brp Eade, to allow the Lodge to pay off the amount due to the district on the section. It was decided to strongly recommend Lodges- not to build halls for letting purposes. ; On the motion of Bros. Liddle and Sharman, permission was granted to the Loyal Wanganui Lodge to apply for the appropriation of tho surplus. A vote of thanks, together with a vote of £l, was passed to the Trustees of tho Methodist Church for use of schoolroom,
