■AN ANGLO-FRENCH ENTENTE.', Apropos of the naval discussions j is progress, two Paris' papers, the Figaro and the Matin, recently published articles in which they pointed out how identical are the interests oE France and Great Britain in face of Germany’s bid for naval supremacy.

CANADIAN CADETS. . The largest crowd ever seen on the waterlrons in Vancouver gathered last Thursday so bid farewell to the cadets leaving by 45ie Zoalandia for Australia. The streets through which the lads were marched on the way so the dock, were thronged with people, and the progress, of the contingent was marked by one long succession of cheers. In their editorial references to the tour the local newspapers speak of She Imperial importance of the visit, which it is hoped will do something towards bringing Canada and the Commonwealth into closer relations.
