JERSEY CATTLE SALE.

HIGH PRICES MAINTAINED. At the homestead. Fair View, Mangatokl, on Thursday, Mr Newton King held a most successful sale ot pedivree Jersey cattle on account of Mr Thomas Linn. There was an exceptionally large attendance of buyers, representing practically all the principal breeders of the North Island, and some earning even from the South Island. .Bidding thronghont the afternoon was very brisk, and the high prices realised only confirmed tbs excellent opinion held of this famons breed. The biggest price paid for one animal was ißsgs., that being the amount given by Ms R. J. Linn, of Normanby, for Mr J. Q. Harkaess’ imported bnil Victor (Barker —Vicky). Mr W. M, Bayly, Stratford, bid 145g5., for Mr Thomas Linn’s Ruth 11. (Rioter of Pencartow —Rita), which was the highest price paid for a cow. The full list is as follows : COWS.
