Some alarm is felt in daiiying circles as a resalt of the Ohiet Justice’s decision re river pollution. A well known batter dealer to day declared that the dairy factories are in the.same boat as the flaxmllls “If effluents from flaxtnSlla cannot gc Into a river what about cure?” be asked, “we must drain into the rivers.” He believed most dairy factories drained into rivets, and as the Judge declared that it had been held that even water of a different character flowing; into a river was pollution, the effect of the judgment might be serious.
