An information against Thomas Harvie, licensee of Railway Hotel, at Turakina, for exposing liquor lor sale last Sunday evening, was dismissed by Mr Kerr, S.M., at Martnn Court to-day. Constable Fitzpatrick prosecuted and Mr Treadwell (Wanganui) appeared for the licensee. Informations against five others charged with being found in the same hotel, when such premises were required to be closed, were then dealt with. Three male defendants were each fined 10s, and costs 7s, and the informations against two ladies were dismissed, it being shown they were guests of the licensee.
