CANADIAN CABLE COMPANIES

The Senate adopted the report of the Special Committee on Mr Lemieax’a (Postmaster-General) Bill, placing cable 'Companies under the control of the Railway Commissioners, The Bill was amended to permit's commercial cable company to retain its privileges in Canada by speecial legislation. The Bill will be read a third time to-morrow.
The Canadian House of Commons pissed the Investigation., of Combines Bill.
