Per Press Association. Wellington, April 37. The Rev. D. ,0 Bates’ summary and forecast:— The weather on the East Coast between East Cape and Kaikoura has continued olondly and ohllly, showery in parts, but the weather has been generally fair elsewhere with little movement of the barometer. A storm area appears to be approaching this country southward of Kawbia and Oastlepoiufc, and the barometer will probably fall goon everywhere and especially in tbe south, with freshening northerly winds and [unsettled hazy weather; but there are indications for fair weather and moderate winds in the north. Wellington, April 28. Light and variable winds but moderate easterly prevailing; indications for fair weather; glass little movement out glass fall slowly after 16 hours. D- O. BATES.
