IW ITEA COUNTY COUNCIL. SPECIAL ORDER. Notice is hereby given that at a Special Meeting of the Kiwitea County Council held on Saturday, the 19th day of February, 1910, the following resolution was passed, by way of Special Order, and will be submitted for confirmation at the ordinary meeting of the Couneil to be held on the 19th day of March, 1910 : That in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by ‘‘ The Counties Act, 1908,” and amendments, the Kiwitea County Council does hereby resolve as follows : That for the purpose of complying with sub-section C of section 128 of The Counties Act, 1908,” the Kiwitea County Council does hereby declare the following roads to be Main Roads : Cheltenham Cross Road, Wilson’s Road, Williamson’s Road West, Main Road from Cheltenham to Mangaweka, Main Road to Hunterville, McKay’s Line and KiwiteaTapuae Road, Upper and Lower Pakihikura Roads, Ohingaiti-Pem-berton Road, Apiti-Rangiwahia Road, Peka Road, Kawhatau Road, Potaka Road, Auputa Road, Mangarere Road, Rangitikei East and South Roads, Mangamako Road, Waituna Valley Road, KimboltonApiti Road, Branch Road, Haynes Line, A copy of the foregoing resolution is open for inspection during office hours at the County Office, Kimbolton. Notice is hereby given that a poll will be taken on WEDNESDAY, the 16th day of Mmrch, 1910, for the election of one member to the Board of the Palmerston North Hospital District; Nomination of candidates, which must be in the form set out in the second schedule of “ The Local Elections and Polls Act, 1908,” will be received at the County Office, Pohangina, on or before Noon on WEDNESDAY, the 9th day of March, 1910. Farmers throughout; the Rangitikei County are advised that Poisoned Pollard may now be obtained gratis upon application to the Stock Department, Mangaweka, or to the County Engineer at Hunterville.
