To be raised from the Minister of Finance under part II of “ The Local Bodies Loans Act, 1908,” at a rate of interest not exceeding three pounds ten shillings per annum.

The Council of the County of Po bangina hereby give notice that such Council proposes to borrow by way of Special Loan within the meaning of “ The Local Bodies Loans Act, 1908,'’ and its amendments, the sum of £2OO to be expended in the con- | struction and formation of drains in the township and suburban sections of the Pohangina Township, the same being a legal subdivision of the County and forming part of Section X Pohangina Survey District. The Council proposes to pledge a Special Rate of 8 16ths of a penny in the pound sterling on the rateable value of all the rateable property within the Pohangina township and suburban sectious of such township as security for the said loan of £2OO and interest and other charges thereon, ' It is proposed that the whole amount of the loan shall be repayable at expiration of a term not ex-

caeding forty-one years, to be computed from the date of raising the loan. Notice is hereby further given that It ia proposed to pay out of the loan the cost of raising the same and the interest for the first year. And notice ia hereby further given that such Special Order -will be submitted for confirmation at a Special Meeting of the Council to be held on SATURDAY, the Bth day of Januai'y, 1909. DAVID P.
