BRITISH TEXTILE INDUSTRY.

The Board of Trade inquiry into the textile trade of the United Kingdom shows that 483,000 men and 689,000 women are employed and earn £50,000,000 a year. The average wages of men are 28s, women 15s sd, boys 10s 5d and girls 8a lid weekly.
