PARAEKARETU SPORTS.

Beautiful weather favoured the prompters of ..‘the. above popular equestrian meeting, and the aWe n ®* ' anoe was up to the average. Most f of the -events were well contested, the fields large, and the finishes exciting. The commitee were present, j . in force, the numerous duties appertaining to conducting a successful meeting being well distributed. Mr W J. Bartlett acted as clerk of the v; course, Mr L. Meads, handioapper, Mr Voyoe, clerk of scales, Messrs B. and P. Illston had charge of the jumping competitions. Messrs R. Aid worth., T. McKenzie and W.
