From Onr Own Correspondent. At the monthly stock sale on Saturday there was a good yarding, about 1780 sheep and 130 head of cattle. The sheep were mostly ewes of a good class fand met with keen competition, one line of 2-tooth ewes realising 14s 9d. The cattle were dull of sale, prices being in buyer’s favour. Prices were as follows Sheep : 2rtooth Lincoln ewes 12s 5d to 14s 9d, others 10s 9d to 11s 6d ; 2,4, and 6-Jooth ewes 10s 3d to 10s 7d and 11s; 4-year ewes 9s to 9s 6d, culls 8s • lOd; 3 and 4-tooth wethers 9s 6d to 10s 3d, woolly lambs 9s, shorn do. 6s 6d to 6s 9d, 20 Lincoln rams realissd from 1 % to 2gns. Cattle : Fat cows £3 10s to £4 10s, steers £3 15s, 18-months steers £2 to £3 3s 6d, 18-roonth heifers £1 11s 6d, mixed 18-monthu 37s 6d, store cows £2 6s, weaners 15s to 17s, unbroken colt £8 15s, lilly broken to traces £lO 6s.
