Nathan and Co, asking in connection with creamery at Aorangi to bo allowed to lay water pipes along tho roadside and to leave shuto projecting from cheoso factory.—Left to Or Pearco to deal with. H. I. Ilaynes, Engineer of Lower Gorgo bridge, reported that the contractor had erected eleven spans cf staging. All arrangements had been mado for receiving air lock from tho Public Works Department. REPORTS. The Engineer roported that the washout at tho Kapariki bridgo had been repaired and gully on tho Haleoinbe-Kaka-riki road fenced. Ho advised tho widening of the Halconibe-Feilding road 011 tho Haleotnbo side of tho Mangaone bridge for a distance of throo chains at a cost of JUG. Ho estimated the cost of a bridgo over tho Makino on tho junction road at .£215.

Tender,-, would be invited next week for the formation of part of the Penelope road. 11-j proposed calling tenders next week for rcgrading two hills near tho Hui'i'.ma fchool. An old wooden culvert on tho liimiij thovpe-Ashhurst road had fallen in and it would be necessary to replace it with 18 pipes at a cost of £25. Tha report ami recommendations included were adopted.
