The minors having been locked out from the Lambton 8., Hebbum, Burwood, Northumberland pits, and their requests for Sd advanca in the hewing rate only met with -Id, have resolved to discontinue work if the lockod-out men are not reinstated by Tuesday, and if a committee of throe from either side, with an umpire, is not appointed.

Other" ledges meet tomorrow and Monday to give their decision. It is believed tho majority of lodges will . agree to the ultimatum.
