The Council adjourned at 5 till 8 p.m. In the Rouse the Otago Presbyterian Church LVard of Property Act Amendment Bill and the Parliamentary and Execntive Titles Bill were read a first time. The Post and Telegraph Office Classification Bill was read a second time and the House adjourned at 5.30. The Council resumed at 8 p.m. The infant Life Protection Bill ws road a third time and passed. The Agricultural Labourers Accommodation Bill, the Government Advances to Settlers Bill, the Agricultural Implement Manufacture Importation and Sale Bill, and tho Tau.marivuui Town Council Election Valida- : lion Bill were read a-second time. Tho Labourers Accommodation Bill was put through Coniimttcj slightly amended. The Council rose at 11.5 p.iU. In tho Houoo of Representatives il>e Public Works Estimates and Public Works Statement was brought down and laid on the tabic-. The Railway Classification and Public Kovviea Classification were read a second time and passed on the voices. The House went into Committee on the Flour and Other Products Monopoly Prevention Bill and on tho Premier's motion Clause 3, providing tliat an Ordei'-in-Council for remitting the duty may be revoked not earlier than four months, was amended to three months. The Bill was read a third timo and passed.
