Their Majesties the King and Queen reviewed at the Solent 181 warships, arranged in 11 lines and covering an area o£ 24 miles, the crews aggregating 35,000. It was a magnificent and impressive spectacle, the Dreadnought leading a salute of 21 guns from all the battleships and cruisers.
