Lyttelton, sacks extra. Milling wheat: The-market is quiet, but holders are very firm and confident. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency 00., Ltd., Feilding, reportAt onr Kimboltou sale on Tuesday a fair yarding of sheen came forward. Saleable lines met with a ready sale. Very few cattle cam© forward. Quotations -.—Sheep: Wether lambs 13s 9d, mixed lambs 9s lOd, ewes in lamb 15s, 16s, f.m. ewes in lamb 14s 9d, empty ewes 9s Bd, mixed ages ewes in lamb 9s Bd. Cattle; Fat cows £-1 10s, bows in calf £3, £4. At Mr Churche'r’s sale on Wednesday there was a good attendance of buyers and a successful sale resulted. The cows were a really good lot in good condiitou, and were sold at up to £5 13a 6d. There was a keen demand for pigs, which sold readily. Dairy cows to £5 13s 6d, heifers in calf £3 os to £8 2s 6d, breeding sows in pig £8 7s 6d to £5 ss, boar £3 10s, ■\VGtiiicr pigs 14s Gel to 15s 6cL At Feilding on Friday there was a heavy yarding of sheep, the htilk ot them being hoggets; prices were slightly easier all round, and several ■pgns were passed fit auction, but were sold afterwards by private treaty a good clearance resulting. Cattle were in fair demand and all lines sold well. Hoggets small 10s 3d, good 18s 7d to 15s 3d; store cows 23s to 345. heifers in calf £3 to £2 is Cd, yearlings fat cows £3 13s, springing cows £4, steers £3 Bs.
