Per Press i sscciation. Napiee, July 17. Arthur Graham Owen was committed for trial on a charge of making a false declaration to the Registrar of Mrriages at Christchurch. The prosecution stated that accused had declared himself a bachelor and gone through the ceremony of marriage with Ruth Nuter, lie having previously gone through the , same ceremony with a woman named Minnie Solvinitt at Adelaide. According to a statement made by accused the Adelaide ceremony was not. legal, because ho had a wife living in England then.
