WBALLBANS—WARD. The marriage of Mr James Weal; leans, o| Oolytqn, |o Miss Amy Pris : pill a, youngest daughter of Mr Thoa. Ward, of Mart-on, took place af. the residence of the bride’s parents at Marton yesterday, the ceremony being performed by tbe Rev. D. Gordon. The bride who was given away by her father, wore a blue tailor-made travelling costume and vyhito hat trinunpd wivh blue Silk and 'feathers, aiid' carried a choice Shower bouquet. She was attended by Miss Nicol as bridesmaid and tlio bridegroom’s brother was best man. Relatives and guests were afterwards entertained at the residence of the bride’s brother, Mr W. R. M. Ward, whore the health of the newly-mar-ried couple was proposed in a happy speech by the Rev. D. Gordon. The health of the bride’s parents, who are well known in the district, was -also honoured.
