The above matfch was played at Rata yesterday and resulted in a win for the home team by 21 points to 8. Rata had the best of the game throughout, their backs showing good combination. In ,the first half Rata had the wind in their favour and scored three times, two of which were converted. Marton showed to better advantage in the second half' and Rata were forced several times. Towards the end of the game Rata again showed to advantage and two more tries were obtained, one of which was converted. Signal kicked •a penalty goal for Marton.
