Hawke's Bay Meeting. First Day. Press Ac sociation. Napier, Juno 19. The Hawke's Bay Jockey Club's winter meeting was commenced to-day. The weather was wet, and the attendance thoroforo not so largo as usual. The course was soft, and there were several spill 3 in the Steeplechase, but no serious accidents resulted. The winning double, Eclair —Pushful, paid a dividend of .£2O 18s. The sum of .£BO4B was invested on the totalisator, including MIXGZ on the double machine, being an increase of .£lO3l over the first day of last year. Kesults :
