Press Association. [»Taihape, June 19. The body of a man named P. Mnnro was found dead on the Main road near Ohakune yesterday. The Coroner and Constable Sweeney left hero this morning to hold an inquest. Auckland, June 19. At the inquest on Harry Elder, house painter, who met his death as the result of injuries caused by a tram car, the jury found a verdict of acpidental death, attaching no blame to anyone but recommending each car should carry two jacks and that motormen and conductors instructed in their use in lifting cars. In the present case there was considerable delay in getting Elder’s body from beneath the^car.
