Press Association, Blenheim, May 27. The Blenheim Rifles and footballers systmatically searched tlie mud flats and lagoons for trace of the missing man, Wm. Preston, yesterday, and found a hat, since identified as Preston’s, on a spit iu the upper lagoon. Tills is taken as conclusive evidence that Preston met his death by drowning. The police are now dragging for the body.
