The Marton Rifle 'Club commence their first of three competitions for an E.P. hot water jug given by W. Morrison, Esq., on Wednesday afternoon The following are the handicaps;—E. Parkinson, W. Johnston, G. T. Avery, A. Sharpe, W. G. Gray, J. Frederick, G. Head, A. Wing, J. Wing, T. Wing, scratch; A. C. Mercer 3 points, E. Signal and D. Whale, 5; J. Gunn, W. Morris, W. Morrison and J. Oawood, 7; G. Frederick and A. Coleman 10; O. Kerr, J. Johnston, J. Robson and E. Wing 1i; J. Milligan, E. Hussey, S. J. Gibbons and Oapt. Sutcliffe 15.
