Wool and Tallow.

At tho Antwerp wool sales there was a fair attendance, but buyers were undecided, and bidding was inanimate. Orossbreds wore unchanged, merinoes to 5 centimes decline ; 1959 bales of La Plata wore offered and 323 sold. At the Tallow sales 1734 casks were offered and 883 sold. Mutton, fine 36s 3d, medium 83s 6d; beef, fine 35s 3d, medium 32s 6d.
Frozen Meat,

Napibb, April 22. The CO. and D. Company cabled the following report on the frozen meat market. To-day's quotationsCanterbury mutton 4d, Napier. Wellington, North Island 3>£d, lamb first quality 5%d, second beef hinds 3%d, fores 3%d.
Stock Market.
Messrs Abraham and Williams report :—We held our fortnightly sale at Hunterville ou Tuesday. We sold all the sheep but ouo pen at laterates. Cattle came forv-rd in largo numbers and out of a heavy yarding all but a few fat cows found a ready gale under the hammer at an advance on late prices. We quote : Good 2tootli ewes in lamb 21s Id, eWe lambs 13s Bd, mixed lambs 8s Bd, culls 5s Id, empty cull ewes 4s 6d. Cattle : Shorthorn weaners 25s to 37s 6d, 18month steers £2 4s, £2" 13s, £2 17s Cd; IS-nionths' mixed cattle £2 ss, store cows £2 8s to £3 6s, fat cows £4 4s to £4 8s 6d, 3-year steers £4 3s, steers £5 10s 6d. Pigs: Slips 7s 6d, stores 13s 6d, porkers 225.
