THE CHRISTCHURCH TRAGEDY

Cheistchubph, April 23. . An inquest was opened. to-night on the body of Alfred •Hellyer, who. was arrested for child murder on Sunday, and who afterwards committed suicide. The house surgeon at the hospital stated that death wa's 'due either to prussic acid or opium, the latter being the more probable'.' The enquiry was then adjourned till Friday afternoon.
