Telegraph adds when the Panama Canal is open and the hustle for trade receives a '"powerful gimpetus derived from the influx of a huge volume of new shipping to tho Pacific, Australia can hardly fail to bo influenced by her neighbours more acutely than at present. Restrictiouist and cxclusionist tactics will no longer avail, and Australia's period of isolation will be over.
