The Board of Control further considered the question of financing the English team and decided to forward the following cable to Marylebone Club The Board will allow Marylebone half gross takings of ground only, with guarantee that such half shall equal £IO,OOO.
A scratch cricket team, composed of Rougotea and Saudou players, journeyed to Foxton on Saturday and suffered defeat by 38 runs on the first innings.
