Stock Report,

Messrs Abraham and Williams report on thoir Johnsonville sale as follows : A good entry of beef, including some prime heavy bullocks. The market was slow and above requirements. Best bullocks, £9 ; others, .£3 2s Gd, £8 12s 6d ; light, £6 10a to ss. A good yarding of sheep, including some extra prime ewes. Heavy ewes, 17s to 18s Id ; others, 15s 8d to 16s Id ; wethers, 17s lid. Messrs Abraham and Williams held their usual fortnightly sale at Marton on Tuesday. A good yarding of sheep met with fair enquiry, and most lines were quitted. Mr Wm. Morrison’s p.b. Lincoln ewes sold at 31s. There was little demand for cattle. We quote—P.b. Lincoln ewes in lamb 31s, s.m. owes 11s lOd, empty 7s to 10s Id, fat 12s lid, owe lambs 12s 4d, mixed lambs 8s to 11s 6d, culls 6s. Forward bullocks £5, 2 year steers £2 13s 6d, 18 month heifers 24s 6d. Weauer pigs 11s, slips Bs.
