Press Association Napier, March 20. Tho New Zealand Polo Tournament was continued at Hastings this afternoon, tho following games being played: — Hawke’s Bay A boat Wellington A by 7 goals to 2 ; Mangahei beat Wellington B by 8 to G. Just as tho bell rang for tho finish of tho last polo match to-day Mr Earl Williams, of tho Wellington team, had a nasty spill, being dragged along the ground for a considerable distance and rendered unconscious. A doctor was in attendance immediately. Mr Williams recovered consciousness about 9 p.m. It is not believed that any bones are broken. March 21. The "polo tournament was continued to-day in ideal weather. One match was played this morning, Hawke’s Bay B v. Rangitikei B. Following were 'the teams :—Rangitikoi: Keiller, White, Levin, Dalrymplo. Hawke’s Bay; T. H. Russel, F. McKenzie, Banks, and Hill. The game was evenly contested and at the cud of tho fifth spell tho score was Hwko’s Bay 5, Rangitikei 3. In the final spell Rangitikei scored, the game ending Hawe’s Bay 5, Rangiikoi 4. McKenzie (2), Banks (2), and Hill £wero scorers for the winners, and Levin (3), and Dalrymple (1) for Rangitikei.
