Mr Denham, explaining his secession from the Ministry, resented Mr Kidston’s inuendo that during the Premier’s visit to New Zealand, Denham negotiated for reconstruction. Ho said Mr Kidston’s idea of homogenous party seemed to bo that those who signed the Labor platform should agree to mutilate that platform, and members committed to a Liberal policy should appropriate the chips of that shattered platform.
