Corporal A. Clivo J ihns, who has been killed in acion, wastho youngest son of Mr J. Johns, of Te Awamutu, hcing 2.1 years of age. and was a brother <>f Mr Walter Johns (Pukekohe), Mr R W. Johns (Mauku), Mrs Robt Wright and Mis Curl (Tukekoho). He was born at Pukekuhe and was educated at the Pukekohe Pub'i: School and at the Auckland Grammar S-hool. Before his enlistment he was engaged in accountancy work in the otbee of Messrs L. D Nathan and Co , being in the »mployof lhat firm for live years. He enlisted in April of 1916 and left New Zoiland with the lKtli Reinloieements. After his training had been completed in England he went direct to Finn o.
