FOREIGNERS ARRESTED AT AWHITU.
Two gum-niggere, who had been following their occupation at Awhitu, were yesterday arrested by Constable Fcarnley, of Waiuku, on instructions from head-quarters in Wellington unr'er war regulations. The rea-on for the arrest is not disclosed by th 3 pclice. The men, whose names are Luka Lendich and bteve t'nzmicb, and whose ages ae 27 and 28 years respectively, both claim to be Dalmatian?, but it appears that Prizrrich is an Austrian naval reservist They wen brought into Pukekohe this morning and taken ti Auckland by the midday train to be handed over to the military authorities for iite-mcnt
