PUKEKOHE ROD AND GUN CLUB.
A contest took place on Saturday on the Pukekohe Range for Mr C. Clarke's trophy, ten birds, the scores being as follows: W. McNaliy, 14yds handicap, and J. Fausett, 19 yds, 10 kills each; J. Wright 15yds and E. Fausett 14yds, 9 each; A. P. Daysh 14yds, and R. McGougb, 12yds, 8 each; W. Wilson, 19yds, and C. McCo ' , 17jds, 7 each; A. Vujucich, i-j-d, 6. In the shoot-off McNaliy beat J. Faußett and won.
In a 6-bird sweepstake, Wright, Blake, McCormick and J. Fausett all had six kill:, winning on shooting off. Other scores were Wilson, E. Fausett and Vujucich 5 killis each; McNaliy and Daysh 4 each.
Members are notified lhat on Saturday next trophies presented by Messrs J. Todd and W. Townson will be competed for.
