On Saturday, at the Pukekoho Gun Club's range, shooting opened with a live-bird swoopstokos. J. Wright won with four birds, J. Fausett second. J. Bloke .'i, W. Wilson, J. Reynolds, S. Fitness, A. P. Daysh, 2 each. Ten competitors tried for (ho Abbott Cup, a ton bird ovont, which was won by J. Fausett, 11 yds, with 10 birds. J. Wright 12, 8. Fitness 10,8 each; Daysh 11, K. Fausett 10, 7 each: J. Reynolds 11, Vujucich 11, J. Blako 10, ti ouch ; W. Wilson l.j, •"> ; W. Boato 11, 4. The six bird sweepstakes was won by J. Wright, W. Wilson second.
