SIEGE OF CALAIS.

One ol' the finest of the pictures yet shown in Pukekohe was screened by tho " All Stars" on Friday and Saturday. It dealt with the " Siege of Calais" and the representation was of dramatic and historical interest. This f'ui was one of those which entirely justify the moviug picture as a vivid means ol instruction. As a specimen of living photography ''The Siego" was a marvel in clearness while the characterisation, action and general movement evoked loud applause. To-night another especii'"y fine picture " Lead Kindly Light " (with the hymn sung by a loc; 1 ' ipuirtotte) will be shown.
