N.Z.R. ROAD SERVICES.

MANGAKINO - TOKOROA - PUTARURU - ARAPUNI - HAMILTON SERVICES. On and after MONDAY, 23rd JUNE, 1947, the existing Services operating between Mangakino-Tokoroa-Putaruru-Hamilton will be cancelled and the following substituted :

No. 1. Local Service, but on MONDAYS ONLY departs Putaruru at 9.10 a.m. for Tirau and returns from Tirau at 9.30 am. after the arrival of the 7.30 a.m. Frankton-Rotorua car, which provides a connection with the 3.58 a.m. Auckland—Frankton newspaper train. Nos. 2,4, 6,7, 10, 11, 12, 13, 15. Local Services only. No. 3. Provides connection with the 11 a.m. Hamilton-Auckland motor service and 11 a.m. Hamilton-New Plymouth service and runs via ARAPUNI-CAMBRIDGE HIGHWAY. No. 5. Connects at Hamilton with 10.45 a an. Rotorua-Auckland car timed to leave Hamilton at 2 p.m. No- 8. Connects at Hamilton with 3.15 p.m. Rotorua-Auckland car timed to leave Hamilton at 6 p.m. No. 14. Travels via CAMBRIDGE-AHAPDNI HIGHWAY. Nos. 16 & 17. Connects at Hamilton with 2-30 p.m. Auckland-Rotorua car. ON PAY FRIDAYS service departs from the Campbell’s Road Mill at 2.30 p.m., returning from Putaruru at 5-30 p.m. Attention is directed to Services Nos. 3 and 14, which travel via ArapuniCambridge Highway.
