The article read as follows : Britain Victorious In Cricket Match English bowlers held Australian batsmen to a low 255 score, fanning six men with a succession of speedy cannonballs and slow drop curves in the opening of the third test match In the cricket world series. Even Don Bradman, who usually romps home 100 or more times in his turn at bat, was dismissed with only 79 runs, as the English, who have been woefully weak in the field, suddenly came to life. Australia won the first two of the five match series.
